Green Shoots - News from the School Garden

Bright red tomatoes and bulging pumpkins feature in our school garden in Autumn. We have also harvestedyummy corn and curly kale. A group of parents are meeting on Tuesday mornings and so far resurrected the compost system and readied some beds for the winter planting. Children from Year 2 have planted broccoli, carrots, spinach and peas. Theyalso settled our worms into their wormary home.

Tuesday lunchtimes is 'gardening club' day and we would love more parents and kids to be involved as we have loads of ideas!
